SWTOR Game Update 5.5 is coming with 9% off swtor credits on Swtor2credits from 9.19-9.29

The roadmap is still in progress. We have been shuffling some things around with respect to 5.5 and 5.6 and we need that to settle before we can let you know exactly what is coming and when.you can buy cheap swtor gold from Swtor2credits.

It was our plan to put out Game Update 5.5 in late September but we have made the decision to move it into early October (currently 10/10). We did this to allow us more time to focus in on quality for our Game Updates to avoid some of the issues we had with 5.4.

Class balance is still planned for 5.5. I expect I will start putting out those details starting next week.

We know returning Companions is something there is great interest in. As soon as we have an announcement on any Companions coming back in a Game Update, you will be the first to know!

Good chance to join Swtor2credit 2x Reward Points for swtor credits from September 7 to September 14

This isn’t something we ever want to happen, but when buy swtor credits it does, we take it seriously and do everything we can to resolve the issue or issues. We are adding additional processes to try and prevent this particular situation from happening again. Here’s essentially what took place today and what’s behind the long downtime:

What happened? Wasn’t this tested?
The issues we encountered were fairly complex, and having more than one just made things complicated. The first problem was the patch for our BitRaider and SSN launchers were inconsistent and ended up causing different issues after we took the servers out of maintenance. As a result, some of you actually received a game patch, while others didn’t get anything. You’d think we would catch that in our normal tests, but it was an oversight in our process which we have since corrected. The big issue was part of the patch that should have been included was missing data, so it was pulling information from 5.4 instead of 5.4a. The net result was a variety of issues – including some of the patch changes didn’t seem like they were deployed.

Although we extensively test all of our updates at all stages of the process, the missing parts just caused enough oddball problems, we had to take the game down again to figure out what was going on. In reality, had I been a little more patient, we would have caught the issues beforehand, yet the long downtime would not have been avoided. In addition, not everything we had planned to fix is actually included. For example, we have resolved the exploit with the Umbara Stronghold, but it didn’t make it in the 5.4a patch. Therefore, we have our normal infrastructure maintenance planned for next Wednesday, so our current plan is to deploy the change at that time. We implore you to not participate in this exploit as we don’t want any further disruptions in your game play.

Players lost time today, especially in the EU, is anything being done?
Losing playtime is always painful, especially when there is a “double” event running and Dailies awarding crazy high CXP. I’m kicking around a variety of options with the team, as we want to apologize and reward your patience. Some of you have asked to have our Double XP/CXP event extended and others have asked us to keep the current CXP amounts for the Daily Areas. Others have asked for different compensation, and we’re looking at all options as the last couple weeks have been tough on all of us. We’ll lock down what exactly we’re doing and let you know in the coming days.

Can You Miss 70% Discount on Swtor Gold From Swtor2credits.com On Aug.28?

Do you want to buy swtor credits ?Just come to swtor2credits.com. About one week ago we have talked about the issue that new Launcher Certificate doesn’t work on some Windows Vista and XP PCs. Now Bioware announce that they will be unable to support Windows XP and Vista for The Old Republic. For players who are receiving the error on a Windows XP or Vista PC, the fix that is provided will allow them to continue to access Swtor until October.

Fix for “Certificate Authentication Failed” error

Community manager Eric Musco put forward the solution on the forums on August 9. A launcher repair utility is provided, so players could download the utility and run it after restarting their computers first.
If the launcher will not run or you are still receiving the error, restart your computer and then ensure the launcher is not running in task manager. Try deleting the folder called “patch” from the SWTOR directory manually and then follow the steps above to run the utility.?
This fix will allow the game to continue to run until October. It may run beyond that, but there are no guarantees.

Upgrade is recommended to Windows XP & Vista users

Any users who are on XP or Vista are strongly recommended to upgrade their OS to Win 7 or newer if at all possible, which will allow them to play Swtor going forward without any need for this fix. If someone upgrades at a later date after using it, additional steps will likely be required, even including a full re-install.
Since support for Windows XP and Vista has ended, there are no more security updates or technical support from Microsoft for the Windows XP and Vista. Under these circumstances, Bioware will need to follow suit because they cannot reliably fix any issues that could arise. This reason can be easily understood. Not only for playing Swtor without any problems, upgrading the OS to a current supported operating system is very important for security of one’s computer, which will protect the computer from malicious attacks.

If you are receiving the “Certificate Authentication Failed” error on a Windows XP or Vista PC, try the solution to deal with this problem, but it may be a better choice to upgrade your operating system first. Anyway, everyone can still enjoy the game and buy cheap swtor credits from Swtor2credits.com

How SWTOR Could Improve Stronghold Decoration Accessibility

SWTOR has made some strides in cheap swtor credits improving accessibility to good Decorations recently. With the return of the Nightlife Event came a new Vendor full of brand new items to buy. Among those items were a few brand new, phenomenal decorations which all have an interactable component. It really is fantastic to see high-quality decorations accessible via in-game means instead of them being gated by the Cartel Market.

I added some of the new decorations to my Nar Shaddaa Stronghold, my Mercenary’s home, which is essentially one big party house for her to show off her wares and hold extravagant parties. My favourite of the new decorations is easily the Gambler’s Party Floor. But I also love the Gambler’s Mic Stand and the Dynamic Underworld Ceiling Lights.
New Nightlife Decorations – Gambler Party Floor, Mic Stand (both centre) and Dynamic Underworld Ceiling Light Blue (top right).

I really, really do hope that the Developers continue to add decorations that are accessible through in-game activities. They are a great way to incentivise various types of content. They have already added decorations to the other Event Vendors which are themed to those events. But there’s a lot of other content in the game they could add decorations to as purchasable rewards.

Yes, you can already get decoration drops from Operations and Flashpoints but wouldn’t it be great if there more decorations themed from the various encounters that you could purchase? They could even be reskins of existing Cartel Market decorations from the various packs. An example of some great decorations would be the Cantina Band that gets eaten by Bonethrasher during his encounter in Karagga’s Palace (I really really want to see more NPC decorations especially a ‘Cantina Band’). There are a lot of things in Operations and Flashpoints themselves that would make for some great decorations!

They could even add more decoration rewards for completing achievements such as the Open World PvP Kill achievements on various planets. What a great way to further incentivise achievement hunting! I’m sure they could come up with decorations themed to the various planets (like trees or plants endemic to those planets or even NPC’s) to add to various achievements for each planet. Again, reskinning Cartel Market sourced decorations would be perfectly fine.
New Dynamic Underworld Ceiling Lights. Yellow (top left) and Blue (top right).

Something I’d really like to see which I’m not sure they’ll ever do is to make some of the Cartel Market decorations (especially from older packs) somehow purchasable via in-game means or released as packs on the Cartel Market. (And no, I’m not talking about the RNG decoration packs. I want to see decoration bundles consisting of decorations from various packs themed by style or type eg. Zakuulan or Plant decoration Bundles). There are quite a few nice decorations from the older packs that are really hard and expensive to get these days. As I’ve mentioned above, I would have no issue with them reskinning existing decorations from the Cartel Market and making them obtainable via in-game means.

Another thing they could consider is adding decorations to Collections but make it so you have to pay a Credit unlock fee (maybe the same price/methodology as unlocking decorations for Guildships) each time you want to make a copy of an existing decoration you own. But perhaps limit the number of copies you can make so people don’t go crazy with racking up their prestige.

One final issue that needs to be resolved (that’s more Cartel Market related) in regards to decoration accessibility is the lack of Cartel Certificates. Cartel Certificates have not dropped from CM Packs for a very long time now making it hard (or very expensive) to get some of the original NPC decorations and other decorations that you need Cartel Certificates to purchase. Either an alternate means of purchase or a new way to get Cartel Certificates needs to be introduced into the game. They could make it so you can convert an existing currency into Cartel Certificates or make it so you could earn them completing your weekly Conquest or even add them to PvP, Operation, Uprising or Flashpoint Weeklies.

Hopefully, with the new Stronghold coming out very soon, we’ll continue to see more new ways to get decorations, especially via in-game means. We do have decorations slated as rewards for Season 8 Ranked so we have more in-game decorations to look forward to obtaining. Ultimately, the more ways players have to get decorations for their Strongholds, the more fun Strongholds will be for everyone!

What do you think of the new Nightlife Event Decorations? Would you like to see more decorations earnable through in-game activities? How do you think they could make decorations more accessible in-game?

Preview Uprising Gameplay & Tips to Get Set Bonus Gear in KOTET

The gameplay of the Hoth swtor credit Uprising has been revealed, as well as new endgame armor. It highlights that commend crates will always drop gear, instead of a set bonus gear. Here is a tip for you to get a set bonus gear in KOTET.

General views for the gameplay of Uprising

1. Veteran balanced for gear with augments. Lots of unavoidable damage and avoidable damage that can potentially one shot you. Scaled like difficult hardmode flashpoints.
2. Balance for rating 240+ purple gear (i.e. balanced for people with rating 220/224s with current gear).
3. Going to need a mix of mid and endgame gear. You won’t be able to walk into Veteran on day one and succeed.
4. Goal is 15-30 minutes per uprising.
5. Veteran mode has no extra mechanics, just more damage output/HP.
6. No solo mode right now but you can do it with less than 4 players and have companions join you.
7. There is a command point bonus for being in a full group for uprisings/operations etc.
8. Uprisings should be one of the most efficient ways to get Command XP
9. Currently you don’t get a token every time you run an operation. So you shouldn’t expect a set bonus gear to drop every command crate. You will still get one gear per crate, just that it may not have set bonus.
10. Combat Training area on the Fleet has been converted to an area with Uprising Terminals and terms for heroic quests.
11. Something new for Life Day. No details yet.

Tips to get the set bonus gear from Command Crates

As the update says, Command Crates always drop gear, but they don’t always drop set bonus gear. Here is a tip for you.
Try and get your set bonus gear before KOTET expansion comes out if you don’t already have it. You can get the pvp set if you aren’t able to run operations for whatever reason. The expertise should be converted over to main stat at launch.
When the Eternal Throne comes and the rng fiesta begins swap mods and enhancement from that gear into whatever shell you’re using for the current armouring. For example when I get my first bracer drop and it doesn’t have the set bonus on it, just rip the mod and slap it over my current one maintaining my full set bonus.

KOTET is coming soon with Uprising! May the above tips are useful for you to get set bonus gear in the new expansion. Well, never forget to stock up cheap swtor credits instantly for the update!
