The biggest upset of the day was Tempo Storm’s loss to Method: Synergy. Synergy have placed 2nd in Cup #2, 3rd in Cups #1 and #3, but never taken that coveted top spot—until now. Synergy took down Tempo Storm 3-1 to make it to the final, with Your Name Here, Splyce, and Union all taken down, defeated 3-1. The addition of Trill the Windwalker—a new addition to the roster—seemed to do the trick.
Method: Synergy won’t the only team with a new face. Method: Awakened added Wizk to the mix, and there’s no doubt it was a change for the better. After placing 9th three times in a row, they came 4th and were looking good for the finals, appearing to charge through the lower bracket. Tempo Storm took the opportunity to challenge Awakened again, but Awakened showed no sign of slowing down, beating the tournament favorites with a 3-0 win.
TWO METHODS, ONE WINNER

The final itself was a power play between two Method teams: Awakened and Synergy. Both teams have been practicing solidly for months, competing in every cup, to reach their goal of coming first. The opener of the series was nail-biting and tense, with Awakened coming out on top at 3-2. Synergy, not dropping a single series before getting to the finals, now needed to be defeated twice by lower-bracket team Awakened. What followed was a series of decisions, compositions, and competition that put even the most hardened spectator on the edge of their seat. When Series 2 began, and despite the previous series loss, they brought out exactly the same composition: Unholy Death Knight, Windwalker Monk, and Resto Shaman. They kept their cool and stuck to what they knew.
THE DAMAGE DONE

The pay-off saw Synergy beating Awakened twice in a row. In a bid for survival, Awakened swapped out to Balance Druid, Shadow Priest, and Restoration Shaman. This was exactly what they needed to beat Synergy’s Windwalker Monk and Death Knight, but in retaliation Synergy reverted to a line-up that has always served them well: Affliction Warlock, Unholy Death Knight, and Restoration Shaman. This combo is known for doing a ton of damage, but in this team, they are close to unbeatable. Synergy took the match in less than seven minutes, earning themselves first place.
THE ROAD TO CHAMPIONSHIP GLORY

Cup #5 concludes the qualifiers for the North American Championship finals. All 12 teams have been decided and are preparing for their trip to the MLG Arena in Columbus, Ohio. At the final, players will be tested to the best of their abilities, in person, on stage and in battle – fighting for $100,000 and, of course, a post at the World Championship at BlizzCon 2017.

Secure your spot* in the Mythic Dungeon Invitational by making a run at Mythic Keystone dungeons during the Proving Grounds July 25-August 8! The top scoring contenders will be invited to join as one of 32 outstanding teams from around the world, competing for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

Teams must master multiple dungeons during this two-week period to be considered. We’ll be judging performance across the 5 dungeons in which the team achieves the highest Keystone Level.

At the end of the two weeks, teams will need to submit their top score using this form. Note that any entries received prior to the end of the Proving Grounds period (August 8) will not be considered. All entries must be received by August 11 by 3:00 p.m. PDT. PROVING GROUNDS FAQ

Do any completed Mythic Keystone Dungeons count, or do I need to finish the dungeon within the timer for it to be valid?
A.Only dungeons completed within the allotted time will be counted (Maw of Souls must be completed in less than 24 minutes, Black Rook Hold needs to be completed within 39 minutes, etc). If you didn’t complete the dungeon in time but submit it as one of your runs, your submission will be invalid.

Q. Can I submit two different runs for the same dungeon?
A. You’ll need to submit times for 5 different dungeons, with no repeats. For example, you can’t submit a 22 Halls of Valor run and a 21 Halls of Valor run.

Q. How do I know what my best dungeon clears were at the end of the Proving Grounds?
A. It’s up to you to keep track of your eligible dungeons during the two-week Proving Grounds period. You can keep track by taking screenshots, referencing the in-game Mythic Dungeon UI, or checking the Mythic Keystone Leaderboards for your realm.

Note:During the Regional and Global stages of the Mythic Dungeon Invitational, your 5-player team can use multiple characters and you won’t be limited to a single class each.

Q. Do we have to use the same characters throughout the Proving Grounds? Can I use alts or invite other guild members to push for higher keystone clears?
A. All 5 dungeon times you submit need to be with the same 5 characters. Bringing in alternate characters or other players will invalidate your entry.

Q. Do I just use my normal characters for the Proving Grounds? What about the later stages of the tournament?
A. You’ll be using your normal retail characters for this portion of the tournament. If you’re selected as one of the 32 teams to compete in the Mythic Dungeon Invitational bracket, you’ll be given access to a specially configured tournament realm for your region that will have everything you need to compete (consumables, gear, etc). This will allow us to set keystone affix combinations different from the current live combination for that week, and allow us to normalize gear and artifact level among all competitors.

Q. If I’m invited to compete in the later stages, do I need to travel somewhere?
A. All stages of the Mythic Dungeon Invitational will be played online, so no travel is required. The tournament realms are physically located in each region to minimize any concerns over latency during the Regional and Global stages of the tournament.

Tier 1

Man wird die Relikte in seiner Artefaktwaffe in 5er Schritten bis zu einem Maximum von 15 Item-Level aufwerten k?nnen. Diese Aufwertung teilt man mit jedem Relikt, jedes Relikt kann also nur einmal aufgewertet werden.

Tier 2

Es gibt zwei verschiedene Arten der weiteren Verbesserung, Heilig und Schatten. Schatten ist meist mehr auf Schaden ausgelegt, w?hrend Heilig viel für das eigene überleben sorgt. Welche M?glichkeiten man hat h?ngt vom Relikt ab, welches sich in der Waffe befindet.

Tier 3

Auf der dritten Stufe kann man bei jedem Relikt aus drei weitere Verbesserungen w?hlen, also neun insgesamt. Man verbessert hierbei Talente aus der Artefaktwaffe, welche man w?hlen kann ist abh?ngig von der vorherigen Entscheidung auf Stufe 2.

Was fehlt noch?
Derzeit scheint der Netherlichttiegel auf dem PTR aber noch nicht komplett zu sein. So hat man beispielsweise noch einen quadratischen Sockelplatz, welcher momentan noch keine Funktion hat. Auch die Frage mit den Kosten für das Aufwerten ist noch nicht ganz eindeutig.

In den kommenden Wochen und mit weiteren PTR Builds sollten wie die Antworten darauf bekommen.
